Both give you the same Premium service level — 5 concurrent tasks, priority queue, and full export formats (TXT, SRT, DOCX, PDF, JSON). The only difference is how you pay. One-time is a credit pack: you buy a fixed number of credits upfront (1,000 or 2,200), and they never expire. You pay per minute of audio transcribed. Subscription gives you unlimited transcription for a flat monthly or annual fee. Choose One-time if you transcribe occasionally and want to control your spend; choose Subscription if you transcribe regularly and want the freedom of unlimited usage.
Credits are deducted per minute of audio processed, based on transcription type: YouTube with subtitles costs 1 credit per minute; YouTube without subtitles costs 2 credits per minute; file uploads (audio/video) cost 2 credits per minute. For example, a 10-minute YouTube video with subtitles uses 10 credits, while the same video without subtitles uses 20 credits.
No. Credits from one-time purchases never expire. Whether you use them all in a single week or spread them across several months, your balance remains intact until fully consumed.
Guest users (not signed in) can transcribe up to 3 YouTube videos with subtitles per day and cannot upload files. Free registered users can transcribe up to 3 YouTube videos with subtitles per day and upload up to 3 files per day, with a maximum of 3 concurrent tasks. Both tiers are ideal for testing the service before upgrading.
Absolutely. You can switch from Monthly to Annual at any time from your account settings. The annual plan saves you 45% — just $9.90/month billed yearly ($118.80) versus $18/month. Your existing subscription period will be prorated and the annual term starts immediately upon switching.
Both One-time credit users and Pro subscribers get full Premium export: TXT, SRT, DOCX, PDF, and JSON. SRT files include timestamped subtitles ready for video editing software. DOCX and PDF are formatted for easy sharing and printing. Free users can export in TXT and SRT only.
All Premium users — whether you purchased a credit pack or subscribed to Pro — can have up to 5 transcriptions processing simultaneously rather than waiting for each one to finish before starting the next. This is especially useful when transcribing multiple long videos or batch-processing files. Free users are limited to 3 concurrent tasks.
All Premium users (One-time credit purchasers and Pro subscribers) get priority access to our transcription pipeline. When the service is under heavy load, Premium tasks are processed ahead of Free user tasks, ensuring faster turnaround times. This is especially valuable during peak usage hours or when working with tight deadlines.
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time — you'll retain full Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days, but you keep all Pro benefits for the remainder of the 12-month term. You can manage your subscription from your account settings at any time.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. Your payment information is never stored on our servers. Additional payment methods including PayPal, Alipay, and WeChat Pay are planned for future release.
We support MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, MP4, MOV, AVI, and MKV files. Maximum file size is 5 GB per upload for all Premium users (credit purchasers and subscribers). For One-time credit users, transcription costs 2 credits per audio minute. All uploaded files are encrypted in transit and automatically deleted after transcription is complete.
Your existing credits are fully preserved and can be used alongside your unlimited subscription access. They remain in your account and never expire. This means you can buy a credit pack to try Premium service, then switch to a subscription later without losing anything — and even after your subscription ends, any leftover credits stay available.
